The UFO cervical dynamic intervertebral spacer is positioned somewhere in between the traditional fusion cage and artificial disc. It can effectively restore the disc height and provide the cervical vertebrae appropriate mobility. With the properties of the materials applied, the stability of the fusion cage and the motion preservation of the artificial disc can be well integrated. The elasticity of the UFO can evenly share the loading when the cervical vertebrae moves and the porous surface treatment of the titanium alloy dome can further increase the stability after it’s implanted.

  • Simple implantation
  • Dynamic function
  • Stresses decentralization
  • Press fit the disc space
  • Initial stability obtained

Stability
Retain the capsular synovial elements and realign the joints fibers.
Stresses decentralization
Reduced stresses at the disc.
Dynamic loads
Prevent the disc overloading and the functional facet-syndrome adjacent to the arthrodesis.

Dynamic spacer
Provides a large range for the vertebrae moving.
Metallic dome shape design
Radiopaque.
Convex upper and lower dome prevent from dislocation. Porous surface treatment facilitate bone fusion.
Damping control
Harder core structure can absorb the stress loading.
Free-angle motion
Enables a non-constrained range of motion for lateral bending, Flexion/Extension, and axial rotation. Elastic outer ring can be the buffer of the loading during Flexion/Extension, and lateral bending while maintaining the disc space unchanged.
